OVERVIEW
Sailing Smiles is a non-profit initiative bringing essential dental care to the remote island communities of the Caribbean where access to oral healthcare is nearly nonexistent. Founded by Dr. Stephanie Sweeney, CEO of Savannah Dental, the project was built on a bold belief: that geography should never be a barrier to basic healthcare. What started as a vision became a strategic roadmap to reach thousands of underserved people across the islands.

OUR AIM
Sailing Smile was born from a simple but powerful idea: to bring dental care directly to the Caribbean's most remote and underserved island communities by sea.
But having a vision is one thing. Making it a reality is another. Our greatest challenge wasn't identifying who needed help, it was figuring out how to reach them.
THE CHALLENGE
How do you deliver consistent, quality dental care across scattered islands with no roads, no clinics, and no easy access? How do you build a model that is practical, sustainable, and truly community-centred?
